Da Uphill Playstyles
Rusher, peeker, stamper, mobile thumbs, and anti-lock awareness on a thirty-player FFA.
Da Uphill is not a roster game. There are no locked classes, no shared lives, and no partner to cover your reload. VoidFaIIs Entertainment’s current place is a free hood-inspired FFA: about thirty players, guns and cash at spawn, brick streets, stairs, and doors. A playstyle is the job you choose for the next minute, not a character you unlock.
Five jobs show up on every full server. The rusher takes interiors with a closer. The anchor peeker holds corners with Revolver (Rev) or a rifle. The stamper — stomp hunter — arrives on downed bodies with E. Mobile thumbs play the same map through a touch HUD. And everyone, on every device, has to survive lockers: people using lock scripts. That last one is a risk you will face, not a style this wiki recommends.
If you want the gun pair that matches a job, use loadout ranks. If you want the binds that make the job possible, use how to play and the movement guide. This page is about the decisions, not the key list.
Rusher
A rusher’s first thirty seconds are a door, a stair, and a closer. Double Barrel (DB) or shotgun (SG) is in your hands before you touch the first landing. Sprint the street only as an approach. The fight you want is two body lengths, not a lane.
Rushers die in three predictable ways. They hip-fire the closer from too far. They reload in the doorway after a kill. They chase a wounded target into a Rev peeker who never left the corner. The fix is boring and it works: close the distance, spend the shells, swap or reload behind a wall, and only re-enter if you heard the next player commit.
Rushers still need a peek gun. DB plus Rev is the pair because the second fight is rarely another door. After you take a room, the street outside is Rev’s job. If you refuse to swap, you are not a rusher, you are a closer addict, and the next mid-body shot will rank you into C.
The X macro bind is a movement tool on the way in, not a replacement for aim. Use it to arrive, not to spin in the open. Crouch as you cross the threshold so the first shot is not a full-height gift.
Anchor peeker
A peeker holds. You pick a brick corner, a balcony, or a stair lip with a sightline onto a sprint path. Rev is the default. ADS, crouch peek a half-body, one shot, reset. A rifle or AK — the gun on the official thumbnail — is the same job on a longer lane.
Peekers die when they become wide. One kill feels free, so the next peek is a full body, and a rusher’s DB or a locker takes the second look. Discipline is the whole style: take a slice of the angle, do not take the street. If the angle is dry, rotate. Holding a dead corner in a thirty-player FFA is how you get stomped from behind.
Peekers still need a closer. The rusher will eventually take your stair. Swap to DB or SG before that fight is inside your room. An anchor who only holds Rev will win the first two peeks and lose the third to a door dump.
Sound and reload windows matter more than tracking. If you heard shells dump, that is your peek. If you just fired, that is their peek. Play the window, not the ego.
Stamper (stomp hunter)
Stomp is E. The job is not “press E on every corpse.” The job is arriving on a downed player with a live gun, taking the stomp, and leaving before the third body farms you. Stampers who sprint in empty-handed after someone else’s fight are free kills.
Approach from a side, not down the same hallway the last shots came from. Crouch the last steps if you need a smaller profile. Take the stomp and immediately check the next corner. The player who got the down is often still there, reloading. That is your actual 1v1. The stomp is the bonus, not the plan.
Stampers pair well with Rev because the gun is still useful after you leave the body. A dry DB on a corpse is how you join it. If you want the stomp-specific approach, read how to stomp after this page — the bind is simple, the pathing is not.
Do not build your whole life around stomps. In FFA the downed player is a timer, not a quest. If two people are already on the body, you are late. Rotate.
Mobile thumbs
Mobile is first-class in this lineage — the current place even advertises mobile macro — but thumbs are not a PC HUD. Your playstyle has to respect that. Peek more than you rush if your closer dump is clumsy on a touch fire button. Use the on-screen macro control the way PC uses X: as a movement tool to arrive, not as a panic spin.
Two-thumb players should simplify the pair. Closer plus Rev is enough. Do not try to rifle-spray, stomp, and reload in the same second. Anchor a corner, take one fight, then move. Four-thumb or claw layouts can rush more like PC; still crouch the door, still swap after the dump.
The mobile guide covers HUD and thumb layouts. The rule on this page is simpler: pick rusher or peeker, not both at once, until your thumbs can reload without looking at the button.
Mobile also eats lockers harder because tracking a flick with a thumb is slower than a mouse. That is not a reason to install a lock script. It is a reason to peek less wide and to take fights at DB range where the first shot decides the fight before a lock can settle.
Anti-lock awareness
Lockers are people using lock scripts. You will face them. This wiki does not recommend them. Aim assist cheats turn a peek into a coin flip you lose if you stand still. The aimlock page is there so you can recognize the pattern: unnatural tracking through cover, instant head focus off a wide swing, shots that ignore your crouch peek.
Play around it the same way you play around a better peeker. Stop wide-peeking. Jiggle a half-body, shoot, reset. Take interiors where DB and SG decide the fight before a lock holds a lane. Do not stand still on a reload. Do not challenge the same angle twice if the first shot already proved the track.
If a server is nothing but lockers, rotate jobs. Rushing a locked lane is C. Holding a new stair with a closer is still a real fight. Report through Roblox tools if you want; do not download the same script to “even it out.” That is how accounts disappear.
Picking a job for the next minute
You can change jobs every life. Spawn, look at the nearest fight, and pick. Empty stairwell in front of you: rusher. Two people dumping on a street: peeker or stamper, depending on whether a body is already down. Thumb HUD and a messy closer: peeker until the first clean door.
The parent players hub is the roster-style index for this section. Pair this page with movement so the job has a bind plan, and with loadout ranks so the job has a pair. Style without a swap is just a habit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Da Uphill FFA, guns, stomp, and codes.
Is a playstyle a locked class?
No. Da Uphill is a free FFA. Rusher, peeker, and stamper are jobs you pick for the next minute. Swap jobs when the nearest fight changes range. There is no teammate covering your reload.
What should a rusher hold?
A closer first — Double Barrel or shotgun — then Revolver after the door. Sprint is an approach, not a lane fight. Reload or swap behind a wall. Chasing a wounded target into a peeker is how rushers donate kills.
How do mobile thumbs play this differently?
Simplify the pair and peek more until your closer dump is clean. Use the on-screen macro as a movement tool, not a panic spin. Take fights at close TTK where the first shot decides the fight. See the mobile guide for HUD layouts.
What do I do against lockers?
Treat lock scripts as a risk, not a loadout. Stop wide-peeking, jiggle half-bodies, take interiors with a closer, and refuse the same angle twice. This page does not recommend aimlock. Read the aimlock page to recognize the pattern and play around it.
